For Poynter, February 1, 2021, Tom Jones warns against thinking that MSNBC is a mouthpiece for liberal politicians the way Fox has been for the Trump administration. Jones quoted Oliver Darcy, CNN media reporter, who pointed out that MSNBC opinion operated in the “world of facts and reality. Fox is spinning its own reality.” Jones pointed out that many on Fox News perpetuated the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.
