In a June 23 letter, the First Amendment Coalition urged the city of Vallejo to amend its online portal for requesting public records to make clear that a requester need not provide a name or other personal identifying information as a condition of making a request. Update: Vallejo City Attorney Veronica Nebb said the city would look into the issue. Read the full letter.
