Los Angeles Supervisors agree to remedy open meeting violation

The Los Angeles County Supervisors admitted they had erred in meeting behind closed doors to discuss with state officials the transfer of prison inmates to the County. Opinion: Obama administration falls far short of transparency goals

Three lawyers with experience in litigating Freedom of Information Act cases charge that the Obama administration has performed poorly in promoting government transparency. Los Angeles Coliseum Commission accused of making key decisions behind closed doors

U.S. Capital, a private company interested in leasing and operating the publicly-owned Los Angeles Coliseum, complains that the Coliseum Commission has only negotiated with the private University of Southern California and done so without transparency.
