The Milford-Miami Advertiser must defend itself in court in a defamation claim over an article it ran that a police officer “had sex with a woman while on the job.” The reference was to allegations 13 years before a current sex scandal investigation.
Even though he was fired for various other offenses, the officer said it was never substantiated that he had sex with anyone while on duty and was reinstated as a police officer. -db
