The former head of the short-lived Biden administration board to fight disinformation threats to national security filed a lawsuit against Fox News for lying about her, leading to threats to her safety and diminished career opportunities. The lawyer of scholar Nina Jankowicz wrote in the lawsuit, “Fox’s coverage of Jankowicz was neither news nor political commentary; it was cheap, easy entertainment untethered from the facts, designed to make consumers believe that Jankowicz could and would suppress their speech.
