The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) tallied 44 physical attacks on journalists in North American in 2017, mostly during protests. After revealing the name of a hate-monger operating on a Twitter account followed by Sean Hannity, Roseanne Barr, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Ryan Zinke, a Huffington Post reported received numbers of threats by tweet, phone and e-mail and had his colleagues’ and family members’ addresses and phone numbers published.
