The Sierra Club wants to demonstrate that the Energy Department study was biased in claiming that fossil fuels were essential for the reliability and resiliency of the nation’s power grid. The Sierra Club is afraid that the Energy Department will require a minimum amount of fossil fuel energy in the grid even during periods of low demand.
