A group of 21 open government nonprofits is asking Congress to pass the Police Reporting of Information, Data and Evidence Act to create a comprehensive federal program to require reporting on fatal shootings of citizens by law enforcement officers. The act calls for standardized and extensive documentations of cases. (Open the Government.Org,October 19, 2015)
