Virginia college student defeats free speech restrictions

A evangelical student won a lawsuit and a settlement of $25,000 in federal court where he contested a Virginia community college’s actions to prevent his preaching on campus. The judge said that the community college system designated outdoor areas as free speech areas and are not allowed to restrict expression there. (Campus Reform, June 6, 2014, by Kaitlyn Schalhorn)
