Over-classification: GAO to examine federal secrey policy

The Edward Snowden case has prompted a congressional leader to ask the Government Accountability Office to conduct an assessment of government secrecy policy. Rep. The government has recently shown some ability to reduce classification but there is still too little review and too many examples of over-classification.
