Opinion: Publishing names of prostitute patrons a bad idea

A Poynter Institute commentator argues that publishing the names of the clients of the Kennebunk, Maine Zumba instructor “serves no journalistic purpose or social benefit.” Among other things, Ray Peter Clark says it hurts the clients’ innocent wives and children and causes misery for those with the same names as the clients. -db
