Federal judges rule transit systems must accept controversial ads

Two federal judges ruled that city transit systems must run the ad, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad,” reports Ken Paulson of the First Amendment Center.

Paulson said the decisions were correct in supporting the First Amendment principle that “governments may not discriminate against viewpoints with which they disagree or which make them uncomfortable.” -db
