Federal judge lifts stay on indefinite detention of terrorist suspects

The Obama administration won a skirmish on the battle over the detention law that allows the military to hold anyone suspect of substantially supporting terrorists until the end of hostilities. A federal judge lifted a ban on the law this week.

Reporters are worried that they could be arrested under the wording of the law for news gathering that involved interviewing associates of  terrorists. -db
