California: Investigative center wins right to abuse cases in institutions for the developmentally disabled

A state court ordered the California Department of Public Health to release records of patient abuse cases at centers throughout the state treating the developmentally disabled.

The Center for Investigative Reporting had requested the records but were granted 169 pages with almost every word blacked out. -db
