A federal judge ruled that New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority exceeded its authority by rejecting an ad from a pro-Israel group intended for city buses.
The transit authority claimed that the ad that said in part, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man,” violated their rules against ads that demeaned groups on the basis of race, color, religion and national origin. -db
