San Diego newspaper calls for state atttorney general to investigate secret meetings of Southern California water agencies

The San Diego Union-Tribune is asking California Attorney General Kamala Harris to examine the meetings of local water agency officials who have an input into the decisions of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD).

The newspaper is concerned that the self-described “Anti-San Diego Coalition” is meeting illegally to discuss crucial issues including water rates, capital projects and the lawsuit brought by the San Diego County Water Authority’s lawsuit against the MWD for alleged overbilling. -db
