Now running for Congress as a Republican, Joe the Plumber had earlier filed a lawsuit, claiming that in 2008 he was targeted for retaliation for criticizing Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s tax plan.
After the incident he claimed that Ohio officials had done research on him in the Department of Job and Family Services databases. The Federal Sixth Circit Court of Appeals ruled against Joe this week. -db
