A federal judge said an anonymous Tweeter who posted that he wanted to “engage in sadomasochistic activities” with former Republican presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann could not quash a subpoena forcing Twitter to reveal his identity.
The judge said that the man’s threat was so egregious that the government had a compelling interest in knowing his identity. -db
