A caretaker for a former actor who appeared as three Munchkin characters in “The Wizard of Oz” is suing the National Enquirer for an article that said she abused the actor and stole over $1 million from him.
In her complaint the caretaker said the Enquirer published a photo of Carroll with bruises on his face and said she was responsible for them and that the allegations were criminal and false and that Enquirer “knew the statements were false and libelous when published.” -db
