New Texas concealed carry law under scrutiny for its effect on free speech

Professors at the University of Texas Austin who routinely deal with emotionally charged curriculum claim that the state law allowing concealed guns on campus would dampen vibrant and free-wheeling discussions. They are afraid that students and professors could be shot for their opinions. At least one gay professor said she feared for herself and for her gay students.
