If you’ve been following my messages throughout the year, you know that FAC has broken new ground in 2021 in our fight to protect a free press and the public’s right to know. We’ve forced government agencies to unseal thousands of pages of previously secret records.
We’ve armed journalists and lawyers with knowledge and expertise to defend free-press rights.
And we’ve been there, on the spot, for hundreds of journalists in need of help, from the smallest community news outlets to those serving audiences around the globe.
We’re doing much more of all of this than ever before. But there’s so much more to do — and with more resources, FAC can do it.
FAC is on the cusp of raising $1 million in a single year — a major milestone and the goal of our FAC for All Campaign.
So far in the FAC for All Campaign, we’ve raised $862K, which means we need to raise $138K to meet our $1M goal by December 31.
