    Public comment vs. speaking on agenda item

    […] No denying his right to speak - just a question of what is appropriate. I realize that a member of the public can speak on any item ON THE AGENDA but for items not on the agenda, it needs to be under public comment. I would like to know if I was correct or not.

    Public Commenting, The Brown Act, and Closed Session Items

    […] they go into closed session, but currently they are only scheduling such public comment on the prior day, and not before just the Division of Licensing, but before the entire Medical Board.  May I correctly insist on their scheduling public comment on Friday instead of Thursday, or is their scheduling public comment for Thursday sufficient?
