    If a city formed a joint powers association with a private company, is this joint powers association subject the California Public Records Act? Can any member of the public get access to the records if the records are kept by the private company?

    Ad hoc committees under the Brown Act

My question is at what political or length of time threshold (economic revitalization seems like a non-temporary issue to me) is an issue no longer a candidate for ad hoc committees, but for regular "standing" subcommittees that the public can attend? Is there a law about this?

    I am a board member at my local Public Utility District. I requested information on an agenda item and did not receive it. I submitted questions for response and was denied. During the meeting I could not get any questions answered. Do have any advice as to what I can do?
