Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of FAC Website , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for FAC Website:

  1. Embedded PDFs: The tool used to embed the PDFs should be accessible but it’s possible some people may have difficulty accessing the PDF content within the embedded tool. because This is a third party tool that we do not have full control over. The tool offers a way to download the PDF and also to print it to paper. We will monitor for any reports of difficulty using this tool and will change it if needed. Please use the contact information on this page to report a problem and have us send you the content in another way.
  2. PDFs on the site: The PDFs themselves may not be properly structured for accessibility. because In redesigning our site, we just learned that this is needed. Please contact us if you can not access the content in the PDFs on the site.

Assessment approach

First Amendment Coalition assessed the accessibility of FAC Website by the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation
  • The developer of the site builds accessibility into their entire design and development process.
