SecureDrop offers way for federal agencies to provide information to media

In line with their view that the media is “the opposition party,” the Trump administration restricted the ways federal agencies could provide information to news outlets. But some observers have already predicted that this will be an unprecedented era for government leaks. The New York Times provides a number of avenues for providing them with confidential news tips including SecureDrop. They recommend using a public Wi-Fi network and an uncompromised computer.
