Human rights groups press for transparency in overseas drone strikes causing civilian deaths

Human rights groups are putting the Obama administration to the test over its executive order requiring the U.S. to investigate drone strikes abroad that result in civilian casualties. The letter from over a dozen groups including Reprieve, Amnesty International, the ACLU, Human Rights Watch and the Center for Constitutional Rights asks the administration to publicly disclose the methods and findings of investigations with only essential redactions for security reasons.
