Trump campaign manger charged with battery for strong arming reporter

The campaign manager for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was charged with battery for grabbing the left arm of Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields and pulling her back as she attempted to pose a question for Trump. Corey Lewandowski denied the battery and said the Fields was “delusional.” Fields resigned from Breitbart saying that the conservative news agency did not provide her with adequate support during the incident. A Washington Post reporter backed Fields’ account of the incident saying that he saw Lewandowski try to pull Fields to the ground. Trump claimed that the incident never happened. (Courthouse News Service, March 29, 2016, by Dan McCue)
