Federal judge rules for policeman in free speech case

A federal judge ruled that a policeman was unlawfully punished for speaking with a Washington Post reporter. The judge also held that the Washington D.C. police media policy regulating officers’ speaking to the press was constitutional. (The Legal Times, February 12, 1013, by Zoe Tillman)
