Federal appeals court upholds punishment of students for off-campus postings

The 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that students did not enjoy the protection of the First Amendment and could be punished for online sexist and racist comments that caused disruption at their high school in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
