Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa stamped out the Los Angeles Fire Department’s policy of withholding basic emergency response details.
The mayor acted after the city council criticized a new policy reversing the practice of providing rescue response details including the times, locations and type of emergency and age and gender of victims. -db
