Boston muzzles city employees on topic of Olympic bid for 2024

A Boston Globe editorial criticized the  International Olympic Committee and the mayor for an agreement pledging that city workers would not criticize the Games during the process of selecting the site for the games. “Some prices are not worth paying to host the 2024 Olympics in Boston, and weakening democracy by muzzling critics is one of them,” wrote the Globe.
