California: Lake County newspaper sues sheriff for retaliation

A small news enterprise in Lake County, California is suing the sheriff for retaliating against them by withholding public information. The publishers claim that the sheriff is displeased with an article that alleged the sheriff may have lied about a case under investigation.

The sheriff stopped sending the publishers press releases and statements. -db
